ENSCO AWARDS FAIRMOUNT LONG HAUL TOWAGE CONTRACT

Today ENSCO INTERNATIONAL again awarded a major towage contract to FAIRMOUNT MARINE. This time for the towage of semi-submersible Drilling Rig ENSCO 7500. Immediately after the safe delivery by FAIRMOUNT ALPINE and FAIRMOUNT SHERPA of the newly built ENSCO 8500 in Galveston completing a smooth voyage from Singapore, both super tugs will tow the semi-submersible drilling rig ENSCO 7500 from Corpus Christi to the Australian Northwest Shelf. This towage is over a distance of no less than 13,000 nautical miles, or 24,000 kilometers. The tow is expected to commence just before Christmas.
