CAPTAIN KLAAS BAKKER PASSED AWAY

It was with great shock and a painful sense of loss that we learned of the sudden death of our Towmaster Captain Klaas Bakker who suffered a heart attack at his home earlier this week.

Capt. Klaas Bakker was a true seaman and a great character both onshore and offshore. 

Mentor, father–figure and experienced traveller, he was held in affection by all for his easy professional expertise, profound human wisdom and mischievous sense of humor. 

A loyal friend, priceless colleage and adoring family man, he will be sorely missed. 

We would like to extend our condolances to his wife, children and all the people who loved him.
